Committed members of the Freunde der Preußischen Schlösser und Gärten e.V. association founded the Museumshop Freunde der Preußischen Schlösser und Gärten e.V. in 1997.

There are now 8 museum shops in Berlin and Potsdam, as well as 22 sales points in the Prussian palaces and gardens that use their transactions to subsidize the preservation of these important cultural and historical sites.
