Spring magic in Prussian gardens – experience, stroll, marvel

Schlossgarten Charlottenburg mit Belvedere

Current restrictions in the parks

The New Garden will be closed on Wednesday, 2 July and Thursday, 3 July. The reason for this is the increased risk of so-called summer breakages: even healthy branches can break off unexpectedly when exposed to heat. The risk is particularly high in the New Garden, as it is dry and very exposed to the sun. The Marble House will also be closed on the days in question.

Sacrow Park will remain closed until further notice as the storm on 26 June caused considerable damage there.

There is an increased risk of branches breaking in all open parks due to the heat and the storms of the past week. For safety reasons, only walking on the paths is permitted; sunbathing areas are to be avoided and access to cordoned-off areas is prohibited.

We ask for your understanding for possible further restrictions due to ongoing clean-up work.
