No ferry service to Peacock Island on several days in July and August

Due to necessary repair work on the passenger ferry “Luise” and a last-minute staff shortage, ferry services to Pfaueninsel for general visitors will be suspended on the following days in July:

Monday 27 July
Thursday 30 July
Friday 31 July
Friday 7 August

During the summer season, the ferry to Pfaueninsel runs daily from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm at 20-minute intervals until further notice (departures from the mainland are at :15, :35 and :55).

We ask all guests for their understanding regarding this restriction.

Attention: Branches at risk of falling!

Due to extreme drought these days, trees have been severely damaged. Branches are at risk of falling. Please stay on the visitor paths and avoid to take a rest under old trees, even when it rains! In the event of severe weather warnings, it is essential to avoid visiting the parks. Find out about the current weather conditions before your visit to avoid dangers from falling branches or other weather-related risks.
