Restrictions on ferry services to Peacock Island

Due to repair work on the passenger ferry “Luise” and staff shortages, ferry services to Peacock Island for general visitors will be suspended on the following days:

Friday, 31 July
Monday, 3 August
Tuesday, 4 August

During the summer season, the ferry to Peacock Island runs daily from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. It departs from the mainland at :15, :35 and :55 past the hour.

Attention: Branches at risk of falling!

Due to extreme drought these days, trees have been severely damaged. Branches are at risk of falling. Please stay on the visitor paths and avoid to take a rest under old trees, even when it rains! In the event of severe weather warnings, it is essential to avoid visiting the parks.
