Belvedere on Klausberg
Magnificently decorated in the Frederician Rococo style, the Belvedere is a very special place for events. This two-story domed rotunda, with porticos and two balconies was Potsdam’s first belvedere, sparking a tradition of architectural lookout points in the royal capital. Belvedere means “beautiful view.” From up here, visitors can enjoy the unique landscape of Sanssouci Park with the New Palace’s distinctive dome and beyond to the woody, lake and hilly countryside surrounding Potsdam. Enjoy your event in one of the most exclusive and – in the truest sense of the word – outstanding places in Sanssouci Park! The area surrounding the Belvedere and upper portico gallery are also open for use during the event.
Attention: Ruinenberg and Klausberg closed
Due to the danger of breaking branches, the areas at the Ruinenberg and the Klausberg in Sanssouci Park are closed. All palaces in Sanssouci Park are open! Thank you for your understanding!
